Apple Picking!

I can't believe its been a year since we last went apple picking. Hailey was just a few weeks old when we went last year. This year we went peach picking and apple picking. (peach cobbler was a staple for a while). Its also a tradition to go to the Cooperage Inn Fall Festival (I forgot my camera this year). This happens to be our favorite time of year where we live. We are right down the road from wineries and farms. (that's a hint --come visit! A short train to the city, a walk to the beach, around the corner to wineries and 20 minutes to the Hamptons --so--whatcha waiting for? come visit!)

Hailey's Comet

Always time for a milk and cookies break!

As some of you know Brian has been working on a super cool project for the last year --He is building a boat! A 14 foot wooden boat of which happens to be a model called Comet. So we will be naming the boat "Hailey's Comet". (saw that one coming, huh?) It's actually getting painted right now. Daddy bought Hailey her first life jacket and if she happens to spot it then she wants to where it and good luck taking it off. Needless to say, she will be wearing it for the maiden voyage (with our fingers crossed).

Girl's Best Friend

Hailey loves Toby! At this point they have a lot of the same interests such as eating food off the floor and picking up all rocks that they find. We often find them cuddled up together and when we go for a walk Hailey is not happy unless she is holding the leash.

So, we went to a petting zoo and there happened to be a loose goat on a leash. Hailey felt obligated to take it for a walk. (or maybe it was the other way around!)
